This community event is a chance for people of all ages to get outside and celebrate all that we love about Nevada’s outdoor spaces. Including fun activities like kayaking and slacklining, as well as exhibitors featuring the latest in recreation opportunities, Get Outdoors Nevada Day is a free and fun day out for the entire family.

Your financial support provides Get Outdoors Nevada with the funds necessary to plan and execute a free community event dedicated to enhancing the lives of all Nevadans, residents and visitors alike, and promotes the continued care of the special outdoor places we all love, from our backyards to the backcountry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wilbur Square is located across the street from the Post Office and City Hall along Colorado Street, bordered by Nevada Way, Park Street and Utah Street. Enter Wilbur Square into map searches for directions.
The event has been cancelled for 2020. In the past, the event opened to the general public at 9:00 am.
General admission for the event is free.
Sponsors register in advance by contacting Get Outdoors Nevada at 702-997-3350 or [email protected].
Parking is located throughout Boulder City subject to restrictions, but there are many locations available for free just a short walk from the venue.
There will be food for purchase with cash or credit card.
All leashed, polite and well-behaved furry friends are welcome to the event.
Exhibitors are encouraged to set up on the day prior to the event, beginning at 6:00 am. Security will be in place through the event.
Temporary load-in parking is available adjacent to the booths on the day prior to the event, and load-out will occur at the close of the event.
Volunteers will be available to assist with loading and unloading and carts will be available.
A map with specific booth placement will be made available by a few weeks prior to the event.
Sponsorship includes a full exhibit package including 10x15' space with tent, table and chairs.

Helping advertise the event and sharing it with your followers is a great way to ensure high participation by the public!
The following will not be permitted within the confines of the event:
- Smoking
- Consuming alcoholic beverages
- Helium balloons
- Active political campaigning
- Distribution of literature or promotional materials containing religious, fraternal or political content.
We encourage all sponsors and exhibitors to stay for the duration of the entire Get Outdoors Nevada Day event.
We encourage exhibitors to share event duties with others so you can experience the event as a participant as well.
Anyone with a current business license within the State of Nevada and Boulder City is free to sell items.
Solicitation of donations for your organization is encouraged.
Depending on your intention, the registration form allows uploading of images of your permit and license(s) if applicable.
Food Sales
Exhibitors who wish to sell food must communicate directly with the organizers of the event.
Food Samples
Food samples sealed in their manufacturer’s packing can be freely distributed and must meet standards of the Southern Nevada Health District.
Any other food samples are not permitted.

Returned Check Fee
If your check bounces, along with the fee that your bank charges you, our bank charges us too.
You agree to pay a Returned Check Fee of $25.00 for any check or other instrument for payment each time it is returned unpaid.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Once an Exhibitor has been accepted to participate in an event and Exhibitor withdraws from said event, Get Outdoors Nevada will not refund any fees. NO EXCEPTIONS.
A replacement exhibitor will only be accepted upon prior approval from Get Outdoors Nevada. If an exhibitor is in any violation of a Get Outdoors Nevada or Get Outdoors Nevada Day or event policy, Get Outdoors Nevada may choose to close the exhibitor booth/area and no refund of fees will be given.
Weather Cancellation Policy
All indoor/outdoor events will be held rain, snow, or shine! Events MAY be canceled due to conditions beyond our control, EXCESSIVE/HAZARDOUS inclement weather or weather that has been declared a state emergency. If an event is canceled AFTER logistical, insurance and advertising arrangements have been made, we will endeavor to arrange another date in the near future. Although, most likely fees will NOT be able to be applied to future events. We will try to do our best to give a partial refund, but MAY not be able to give any rebate. This is due to ALL booth fees are allocated for event planning.
An event may be canceled on the spot due to EXCESSIVE/HAZARDOUS weather conditions. In such case, no refunds or credits will be issued.
At outdoor events, we suggest to bring your own canopy with walls and 50-pound weights per leg or work out canopy sharing with your booth partner. Tent STAKING IS NOT PERMITTED. Exhibitor Packages are offered including sturdy tents with supports for this reason.
If inevitable excessive inclement weather is expected, it is your responsibility to check this website for any updates and/or your email address. Cancellation of an event is at the sole discretion of Get Outdoors Nevada and/or event space property management and such decisions will be final.
