About
It has been our pleasure to produce Get Outdoors Nevada Day for the communities around Nevada.
Get Outdoors Nevada is dedicated to connecting people of all backgrounds and ages to Nevada’s diverse outdoor places through education, service, and community engagement. We strive to foster and support a community that discovers, experiences and connects to our state’s many natural environments, from wild landscapes and recreational areas to urban trails and parks. Because our outdoor areas strengthen our economy and increase the local quality of life, Get Outdoors Nevada works to create a community that shares a respectful and protective relationship to our treasured outdoor spaces, both for today's residents and visitors, and for future generations alike.
We work across neighborhoods and jurisdictions to accomplish our mission by:

History of Get Outdoors Nevada Day
Get Outdoors Nevada was offered the helm of the Get Outdoors Nevada Day event back in 2014. In partnering with all of the jurisdictions around the southern Nevada region, the idea was born to highlight and introduce the community to a great outdoor place in a different city each year.
This much-anticipated community event is a chance for people of all ages to get outside and celebrate all that we love about Nevada’s diverse outdoor places. From park and picnic fun with activities like rock climbing and fishing, to meeting outfitters and organizations featuring the latest in recreation opportunities. The event is a free and fun day out for the entire family.
The event has traveled through locations in the City of Las Vegas, the City of North Las Vegas, Clark County, and the City of Henderson.
In 2019, we joined with Boulder City's Spring Jamboree, at Wilbur Square, where we spread the word about Nevada's awesome outdoors to 30,000 - 40,000 attendees.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was cancelled in 2020, and a smaller event took place in 2021, but this year...
JOIN US at the Outdoor Expo, and enjoy all that Spring Jamboree has to offer!
